Still no teeth on 1st b'day? Don't worry....
Yes, you're right. Children's first tooth or teeth should already come out of their gums by the age of 6-7 months old. But some babies' don't. No worries. This also happens to my daughter. A few days after her first birthday, her first tooth hadn't emerged. So I and my husband took her to a child specialist dentist (in Indonesia, a.k.a. SpKGA: Spesialis Kesehatan Gigi Anak). The doctor said that it was normal. It didn't mean that she was lack of calcium or else. What we should notice is that all of their 28 teeth must be emerged by the age of 32 months. The doctor was right. A week after our visit, our daughter's first teeth showed up.
